Antipluviol W is a milky dispersion based on silanes and siloxanes in aqueous emulsion, characterized by a high capacity to impregnate all absorbent mineral materials used in construction, making them water-repellent.
CHARACTERISTICS

Applied on a porous support, Antipluviol W penetrates deeply and reacts with the natural humidity present inside it, to form a hydrophobic layer inside the pores and capillaries, which rejects water.

Due to this property, Antipluviol W is an effective protector against aggressive agents present in the atmosphere, transported into porous materials by rainwater. The water-repellent treatment with Antipluviol W also improves the self-cleaning effect of the façade and reduces the adhesion of moss and algae.

Antipluviol W does not form a film, so it does not modify the water vapor permeability and does not visibly alter the aesthetic appearance of the material.

Antipluviol W has optimal resistance to alkalinity and ultraviolet radiation and maintains all its water-repellent characteristics unchanged over time.

- Colorless protection of cementitious plasters, cellular concrete, exposed bricks, natural and artificial stones against the action of intense rain
Some application examples
- Treatment of moisture seepage in plastered walls exposed to the action of rainwater. Colorless water-repellent protection of historic buildings or buildings of particular architectural value
- Water-repellent treatment of exposed brick and natural stone walls
IMPORTANT NOTICES
Impregnations with Antipluviol W are not suitable for:
- Horizontal surfaces (terraces)
- basements
- Watter deposits
- Walls subject to rising humidity with transport of salts
- Elevator pits or any element subject to water pressure
- Plaster surfaces

Synthetic plasters or decorated with synthetic paints
CONSUMPTION
Consumption is strongly influenced by the absorbent power of the support and can vary between 0.20-1 kg/m2.
Below we detail some materials with relative consumption in an indicative manner:
- Face bricks: 0.50-0.75 kg/m2
- Traditional plasters: 0.50-.080 kg/m2
- Tufo stone: 0.50-1.00 kg/m2
- Cementitious plaster: 0.20-0.40 kg/m2
- Marble: 0.20-0.50 kg/m2
